Nymphe endormie
*Endormie tu voyais ton ruisseau, une résurgence étroite où commençait déjà le fleuve Amazone, il se perdait sous la mousse. Tu voyais un passage, un nid humide dans les pailles, terrier de hase, gîte d’Ondine bordé d’herbes souples et soyeuses, entouré d’iris sauvages, d’orchidées, de lys parfumés. C’était l’amont de l’amont, la véritable source, c’était la naissance du Monde.
Ninfa dormida
* Dormida viste tu arroyo, un estrecho nacimiento donde ya comenzaba el río Amazonas, se perdío bajo el musgo. Viste un pasadizo, un nido húmedo en la paja, una madriguera de hierba, un refugio de Ondine forrado con hierba suave y sedosa, rodeado de lirios silvestres, orquídeas, lirios perfumados. Era el contracorriente del contracorriente, la verdadera fuente, era el nacimiento del Mundo.
Sleeping nymph
* Asleep you saw your stream, a narrow resurgence where the Amazon River already began, it was lost under the moss. You saw a passage, a damp nest in the straw, a grass burrow, an Ondine’s shelter lined with soft, silky grass, surrounded by wild irises, orchids, scented lilies.
