#REPOST @mayanleague with @get__repost__app #Quetzaltenango On June 28, the Maya Mam Nation of Concepción Chiquirichapa came together to reforest the sacred Mountain of the Sleeping Elder burned earlier this year. They thanked the support of the International Mayan League and all the people who donated to make this reforestation of 3,000 trees possible. They also thanked the accompaniment of Maya community journalism in the documentation of the forest fires they experienced.

Members of the COCODE of the community Toj Chulup, Concepción Chiquirichapa, also thanked the support of the municipality and the organization Amor and Esperanza, for the coordination in the reforestation of this day. #CommunityJournalism
