“Buena.”
A very personal piece for me. I don’t usually paint over other work that I’ve done but I made an impulsive decision. I’m glad some of the original survived so I could build off of that. I’m not going into detail regarding the subject. What I will say is that this painting was extremely therapeutic. I was able to take my time, think, consider, and process my emotions. This painting is about healing and moving on. And if you happen to be reading this, I sincerely wish you all the best.
